Liu Yucen (1904-1969), ceramic artist, active in 20th century China. He was a member of the "Eight Friends of Zhushan" group, consisting of porcelain artists who aimed to regenerate the industry of Chinese porcelain, after the crisis period brought about by the fall of the Qing dynasty and the Taiping Rebellion. The group met once a month, at full moon, and they discussed art and philosophy. Each artist had created his own style and was specialised in different subjects.
