The participation of the Romanian army against Bulgaria in the Second Balkan War of 1913 was accompanied by strong propaganda, both narrative and visual. The postcards shown here are part of the CAMARA series published for propaganda purposes at the initiative of the General Staff of the army, a series that enjoyed great success at the time. The items in the series were numbered, with the ones present being numbers 17 and 44, out of a total of 50. On the back, each postcard features the ex-libris of a lottery in the form of a stamp. One of the items was circulated in 1914 between Bucharest and Epinal, Vosges, France, and bears a second stamped ex-libris belonging to Adalbert Hussard, Valea Călugărească.
