Research information
The artwork was part of the "Samuel Mützner. Pe urmele lui Claude Monet", Art Safari, Bucharest, 2021. With the artworks he completed between 1907 and 1909, Samuel Mützner organized his first personal exhibition, at the Romanian Athenaeum, in 1909. Most likely, this work of art was present in that selection that he painted in France and exhibited for the Bucharest public. Also in 1909, Mützner made his debut at the Living Artists Exhibition (Official Salon), when he also displayed artworks he painted in Giverny.
