Stephan Roll, alias Gheorghe Dinu (1903-1974), se manifesta în literatura româneasca ca poet ?i prozator de avangarda, activitatea sa fiind remarcata deseori în cadrul periodicelor 75 HP (1924), Punct(1924-1925), Integral (1928) sau Unu (1928). În cadrul aceleia?i atmosfere îl întâlne?te pe Victor Brauner, cu care va colabora în mai multe rânduri- începând cu revista Integral (1927), urmata de volumul Poeme în aer liber (1929), precum ?i Moartea vie a Eleonorei (1930), în cadrul carora artistul suprarealist î?i aducea contribu?ia ca ilustrator.
