Having the artist's belief that "Beauty Will Redeem the World" imprinted, the present work makes its breakthrough in front of the observer as a "modus vivendi" ready to be decoded. Bernea's modernity is revealed to us especially in his capacity to encode the symbol even in the most commonplace motifs. The artist's painting, deeply organic and of a vital accomplishment, embeds the floral-vegetable motif, transposing it into art. Bernea's brush strokes are incisive metaphors, reaching the depths of the canvas. However, one can find the "essential uncertainty", as well as mystery - an element of knowledge - which the artist has used so many times in order to express the unitary natural in his canvases. His work transcends further from appearance, having a spiritual character and raising conscience-related issues. His painting style is immersive, inviting the observer to come closer to the image depicted on canvas, be it abstract or figurative.
