Florin Răducioiu played for the Romanian National Football Team at the World Soccer Championships in 1990 and 1994, at EURO 1996, and is the only Romanian footballer who has played in all the major national leagues in Europe. Discovered by Mircea Lucescu at only 16 years old, Florin Răducioiu made his debut in 1986 in the Dinamo Bucharest team, being the only club team in Romania under whose colors Florin Răducioiu has played. His World Cup debut occurred in 1990, against the USSR, at the age of only 20. He also played at the World Cup in the USA, in 1994, where he scored twice against Colombia, in groups, and, respectively, two goals against Sweden, in the quarterfinals, plus a goal in the penalty shootout. At the final tournament of the European Championship in England, 1996, he scored the only goal for Romania, in the match lost against Spain, score 2-1.
