Obverse: the head of the god Alexander the Great, wearing the horns of Zeus-Amon Reverse: the goddess Athena sitting, to the left, holding in her right hand outstretched on Nike, with her left hand resting on the shield and holding the spear. The goddess Nike is represented with open wings and holding in her hands a laurel wreath. Under the throne, we find "TO", the first two letters of the name of the city where the piece was struck (Tomis).
