Conceived in 1975, the design of the lot remains relevant for the artist-author's ingenuity and spontaneity, being inspired by everything that surrounds him. Dali will borrow Christian themes and subjects and put them through his surrealist filter, eventually leading to unprecedented and unexpected results. This time, he will take the basic principles proclaimed in Christianity regarding ethics and veneration - "The 10 Commandments" - and transpose them into 10 medals, each representing one of the 10 commandments. The front side showcases the artist's interpretation of each commandment, while the back reveals surrealist insertions connected to the front side's theme.
