The collaboration between Salvador Dali and the famous manufacturer "Daum" began in 1968 with the piece "La Fleur du Mal". The refinement and translucence of the paste provided Dali with the ideal environment to express his surrealist metamorphosis. Respecting the technical precepts promoted from the beginning, this type of crystal was created using the "Pâte de Verre" technique, which dates back to about 5000 BC. and involved melting several colored glass fragments into a single form. Such a result can also be admired as part of the current work, in the intense shades of the colors, enhanced by the daring design proposed by the surrealist artist.
