Drafted in 1835 and delivered by Alexandru Ghica and Metropolitan Neofit, the church testament of the Safta Brâncoveanu marks the establishment of the Brancovenesc Hospital, merging the church of Miss Bălașa, the asylum and its school under a single epitope, becoming a notable religious, philanthropic and hospital institutional model. The medal commemorates a century since the establishment of the Settlements. It features Queen Mary on the obverse, standing next to a sick man lying on a bed, with the building of Settlements in the background and partly surrounded by their names. The reverse displays the coat of arms of the Brâncoveanu family, the years 1838 - 1938 and the inscription "In 1938, one hundred years have passed since the establishment of / the Brâncovenești Settlements / Christian Charitable Settlement / to help / people in distress".
