Linked to the two volumes "Eine Abrechnung" (A Settlement) and "Die nationalsozialistische Bewegung" (The National Socialist Movement). Hitler designed the book between 1923-24, when he was held in Landsberg am Lech prison in Bavaria. The book was typed in prison by his accomplice, Rudolf Hess. "Mein Kampf" is an autobiographical work, but also a programmatic platform of Nazism, especially the second volume. Hitler lays here the foundation of antisemitism as state policy and the principle of liquidating political opponents. For the fanatics of the period, "Mein Kampf" represented the bible of National Socialism. The work was the basis of the Nazi regime's crimes against humanity, the Holocaust and the disasters brought about by the outbreak of the Second World War.
