Ricardo Kaka was introduced as an official Real Madrid player at the press conference on June 30, 2009, playing his first official match on August 7, 2009. His first goal for Real Madrid was in the match against the Borussia Dortmund team. On September 27, 2011, Kaka experienced one of his best games as a player from Real Madrid during a 3-0 victory over Ajax in the Champions League, while he scored a goal, assisted for a goal, and was part of one of the best match line-ups: a counterattack move that involved Mesut Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema. Subsequently, Kaka was chosen as the best player of the Champions League Day.
