Notabilă execuție tehnică și creație artistică definitorie pentru stilul Art Nouveau, se presupune că e o piesă de autor. Personajul feminin din mitologia marină, naiada drapată, este sprijinită de o plantă-floare, cu tija suplă și corola din cochilie de sidef, cu inel metalic - motiv vegetal împletit, formând lampa. Soclul din alabastru de forma ”bob de fasole”, cu locaș adâncit, era utilizat probabil ca scrumieră sau vide-poche.
