The work represents the official report that the professor and archaeologist Grigore Tocilescu submitted to the Minister of Cults and Public Instruction Take Ionescu regarding the excavations that the scholar had undertaken at the Roman fort of Adamclisi, in Dobrogea. The covers are damaged. The cut is gilded.
