In the current work, the viewer notes the mark left by the life values of the Transylvanian village, where the artist was born and raised, respectively the influences of the years of study under Julius Podlipny. First of all, the sky has sovereignty on the page, as air space is vibrant to infinity. The bird in mid air offers a certain sense of familiarity but, when we look more closely, it seems to be inert, it seems to be hibernating in its stellar travel. The work focuses on a stylized image of the Transylvanian village, presented in an insular form, a lonely element, disconnected from the other elements making up the space. The village is placed on a summit, more specifically, the summit of the planet, suggesting its consecration and crowning as a keeper of ancient traditions and beliefs. The village and the bird become characters in the artist’s play, containing the essential ethos of the village in such a concentrated form.
