In 1960, he begins attending the course of the Institute of Fine Arts. He delves into painting and create modern abstract art. He draws inspiration from cubism and experiments with geometric shapes. In 1970 he emigrates to France, then to Scotland, only to ultimately settle in London. He exhibits paintings, installations and produces performances. Starting from 1972, he establishes the "Generative Art Group" and carries on with his series of experiments. In the mid-70s, he harnesses his new found love for "Hyphen", a subject that he would go on to represent, over time, in various forms: painting, drawing, sculpture or objects. The hyphen is often fragmented, provides multiple perspectives, is monochrome and flattened. In the work at hand, sharp angles and circular arcs come together in a balanced Hyphen, a work based on a philosophical approach.
