Constantin Piliuță begins a laborious process, through which he continues the national lyrical tradition. In his creation, we encounter landscapes of memory, landscapes already experienced, transposed from memory. Piliuță demonstrates his lyrical and reflexive character by creating an image repertory in the form of extensively elaborated meditative paintings. His painting is discreet and elevated, and his drawing appears to us as simple and well-balanced. The artist elaborates an enlightened crescendo through the careful interaction between the dark brush strokes and the eloquent white articulating his creation. He gives a particular attention to the dimension of white, which he successfully twists into plastic matter. He embroiders colours and synthesizes impressions, he applies the paint intuitively, accomplishing a notable juxtaposition between the affective and the intellectual. In a way that is both evocative and meditative, he reminisces and locks in a fixed time frame the image of his motherland. He adopts some of the characteristics of French expressionists, focusing rather on a unitary whole and less on stylistic details. In Piliuță's creation, one can find an obvious enlightened crescendo, notably in the last stage of his work. The artist focuses on the continuation of a benevolent universe, dedicated to human and nature love, in which he includes, by repetition, horses, musicians or ballerinas, to which he gives new values.
