Tentația susținerii regimului comunist din România nu l-a ocolit nici pe scriitorul Scarlat Callimachi, supranumit ''prințul roșu'', directorul revistei de artă constructivistă ''Punct'', apărută între martie 1924 și aprilie 1925. Redactor era Stephan Roll, iar ilustrațiile amintesc numele lui Victor Brauner și Marcel Iancu.
