106. "The Words of the Blessed Father Dorotei", printed during the reign of Mihai Suțu, Râmnic, 1784

Patristic work, translated by Bishop Filaret of Râmnic, who also held the quality of editor (financially supported the appearance of the book), printed in Râmnic in 1784. The work is part of the category of old Romanian books (1508-1830), being printed under the patronage of the ruler of Wallachia Mihai Constantin Şuţu. In 1925, the book was in the possession of the nun Comanici, without specifying any locality or monastery. The book was published in Râmnic, in the typography of the Bishopric, those involved in the printing activity being typographers Climent the Hieromonk and Constantin Râmniceanul. Authentic piece, important for the history of old Romanian printing from the end of the 18th century, it presents [2] f. + 70 f., being a complete copy. It has typographic ornaments in the form of engravings, ornate initials, title pages and vignettes.
