Baston cu stilet din lemn lăcuit negru, cu mânerul tubular din alamă, dezvoltat orizontal, decorat cu cochilii stilizate şi două rezerve ovale, unul cu inscripţia "Present from Joseph Gropper" şi monograma "SM". Lama stiletului, subţire, în trei muchii, este fixată în mânerul bastonului, tubul de lemn fiind folosit drept teacă.
