"Home" means a feeling of familiarity, safety, and well-being, of identity, trust, and acquaintance. Home is the universe where every child should grow, but for some kids, reality is harsher. The mission of Hope and Homes for Children is to close all orphanages in Romania by 2027, replacing them with family homes that become a home for children who came into this world with fewer chances. Through the efforts of Hope and Homes for Children, from '98 until now, 78 placement centers have been closed, over 7,500 children have been taken far from the cold and dark corridors of orphanages, and 131 family homes have been built. Another 3 family homes are now under construction and for another 5 they need your help to start the works. These are the last 5 homes needed for all orphanages in Romania to be closed. Each brick will be placed with love, and every corner of the house will come to life with the thought of the children who will finally have a place to call home.

This lot does not have a material expression, but a symbolic one, strictly spiritual. The winners or participants are not given a valuable object in exchange for the auction price, but rather a certificate of auction, effectively being a donation or sponsorship. The document is offered to both the participant who offered the highest amount and all those who contributed to achieving the charitable goal. The price regime is cumulative, so the bids do not eliminate each other but, relative to the humanitarian purpose of the auction, they accumulate, reflecting the current cumulative price and number of participants.
