As she crafts a personal manner of creation, hinting at a surrealistic dreamlike space and an authentic narrative, at peace with the composition, artist Georgeta Năpăruș delivers a work of a rare epic essence. The epic nature is achieved through an extensively experienced skill, specific to an art of a highest level, where form obeys rigour, qualities through which creation combines with a perfect balance between judgement and fantasy. Aside from the epic part, the imaginary plays an essential role in her creation, representing a different side of reality, mirrored in the innermost depths, having, at the same time, the purpose of bringing reality at the level of the most intimate desire, turning into a poetic expression, into an artistic idea. In her painting, the image emerges at the same time with the object, becoming, however, subject to metamorphoses as the inner space becomes full. Forced to identify with the spirit, the object turns into a dream, and the boundaries are overstepped by the significance of a continuously dilating content. Using a simultaneity of figures and objects placed in such a close proximity, so that the eye can capture all of them - the artist sows a plethora of narrative metaphors using the dream thread. Hence, the adventures of her imaginary become an opportunity for spiritual delight, where her paintbrush can freely affirm itself, at the same time remaining faithful to the aesthetic dignity. Everything usually starts with a parcel, with a small figure sketched in a drawing and a few colour spots, representing the core in the middle of the canvas, around which the rest of the narrative develops gradually, in free and inspired ways.
