The "Ferdinand I" Order was a decoration created on May 8, 1929, in memory of King Ferdinand I of Romania. Simultaneously, the "Ferdinand I" Medal was created. The Order had six grades and could only be awarded to Romanian citizens who had made a significant contribution to the Great Union of 1918. The Order was last awarded in 1937.
