Obverse legend: +MONE ALEXANDRI; inner circle the coat of arms of Moldova: an aurochs head with a five-rayed star between its horns, with the odd ray facing upwards, heradically flanked to the right by a five-petal rose and to the left by a half moon. Reverse legend: +WD MOLDAVIENSIS; inner beaded circle: vertically divided shield; in the first field there are three beams, in the second field there are five lily flowers; the shield is topped by an aurochs head; to the left of the shield is a seal; outer beaded circle.
