Alfred de Musset a publicat, fără a semna, romanul erotic "Gamiani" în 1833. Numeroase alte ediții au prelungit idila lesbiană dintre contesa Gamiani și cealaltă eroină a cărții, Fanny. Exemplarul de față face parte dintr-o serie deosebit ilustrată de artistul Constant le Breton (1895-1985) și are păstrată legătura originală.
