The Romanian delegation was led by George Macovescu, at that time the Director General of Cinematography. The delegation included, among others, Florin Piersic and Ion Popescu-Gopo who won on that occasion the Palme d'Or for his film with the adventures of the Little Man. The images also feature great actresses of the era, such as Sofia Loren, Tatiana Samoilova, Maria Felix, Giulietta Masina. Pierre Manciet photographic studio, Nice.
