The Romanian army defeated the Hungarian Bolshevik revolution on the basis of an international mandate. After heavy fighting on the Tisza line, Romanian troops occupied Budapest. In the images, Romanian soldiers distribute food to the local population who were suffering from shortages due to the chaos brought by the revolution and its annihilation.
