The first volume is bound separately. On the lower part of the leather spine and in the upper left corner of the main endpaper is the cipher of King Carol I. The title page of the second volume is missing. The second and third volumes are bound together and on the leather spine, at the bottom, the cipher of King Carol I can be observed.
