The work "Peaceful Waters" represents a mythological space of inner suspension, where the two sirens become archetypes of the dual consciousness, one lucid and vigilant, the other surrendered to the archaic sleep and primordial memory. The balanced and frontal composition suggests the stopping of time and the entry into a protected psychic state, and the saturated chromatic, built from tempered oppositions between warm and cold tones, functions as a code of integrated tensions. Water is not a natural environment, but a mental state, a territory of quietness obtained through the reconciliation of contraries, where myth and introspection meet in silent harmony.
