Mirrored in the monumental, in sculptural ensembles or in busts, the work of the artist Guguianu orbits around the culture of the human body, to which he remains connected throughout his creation. Having been attracted by the universe of mythology and knowledge ever since the beginning, Marcel Guguianu marks his artistic instincts around the ancient, which he interprets on his own terms, like a modernist. At the heart of his creation is woman, the major theme of his work - whom she continuously represents and metaphorizes. Harmonizing the feelings of the eternal feminine, the sculptor gives value to exterior beauty, but, especially, to spiritual beauty. Within his vast repertoire, we encounter themes such as: meditation, nostalgia, motherhood, the idyll, rivalry, melancholy, aspiration, wonder, revolt, penitence, prayer, or flight, which themes are fully echoed in the illustrated feminine ideal, which is in close connection with the universal harmony.
