"Body and soul", "I bare my soul", "The eye are the windows of the soul" - here are just a few of the phrases we use currently and to which we have assigned, by their use, a certain perception. But do these expressions have a deeper meaning? In a society which is increasingly engaged in the process of technologization and globalization, where human interaction has gradually been replaced by virtual interaction, we need to ask ourselves what the value of these words is today. Like Nietzsche's God, has the word "soul" perhaps become a mere verbal residue, void of signification? We can only presume what the other people’s soul is like, the rest remains invisible to our eye. A graduate of the Department of Sculpture at UNARTE, she thus aims to highlight a subjective manner of interpretation for a notion as abstract as "the soul". From the artist’s personal exhibition, we mention "Heart it" (2018" and "Anima" (2017).
