Postwar and Contemporary Art Auction #668/2026

Contemporary Art demonstrates a constant predisposition for change. Art does not promise conduct or patience to obtain permission. It develops and branches out, occupying new territories of expression. With an extensive selection of works from all thematic repertoires, the corpus of the Postwar and Contemporary Art auction is based on the juxtaposition of harmony with disruption. Thus, Piliuță's works stand out through harmony and balance, while the impressive selection of works signed by Jules Perahim impresses with the effervescence of the chosen themes and the nonconformist character of the visual language. At the opposite pole, the luminous muses that populate the sky outlined by Sabin Bălașa meet the naked and vulnerable bodies from the works of contemporary artists Baraka, Robert Lőrincz, and Corneliu Brudașcu. Based on the selection of works in this auction, a generational dialogue is built in which contradiction becomes a principle of coherence.
