The work represents the first Romanian edition of "Dacia", published by Vasile Pârvan in London in 1926. The archaeologist Radu Vulpe, Pârvan's collaborator, translated the work from the French version that the latter did not manage to publish. This edition was printed with the financial support of the "Vasile Pârvan Academic Association of former members of the Rome School in Rome", a school established in 1920 by Vasile Pârvan and Nicolae Iorga. The printed ex-libris of the association appears on the cover and on the title page. The work is accompanied by a map.
