Anton Mistakide, a mathematician by training, a close friend of Pericle Martinescu about whom he often speaks in his Journal, would send his friend, in Bucharest, four correspondences from Athens in the spring of 1942. Three letters have as a frontispiece a photogravure with the image of the Acropolis. The writing is very neat and tidy, with very few corrections and interventions. The content refers to personal, literary, political matters and travel impressions.
