The avant-garde writer Stephan Roll (literary pseudonym of Gheorghe Dinu, 1903-1974) was a very close friend of George Macovescu, with whom he shared both the literary experience and the political participation in illegal conditions within the Communist Party of Romania. The volume includes a broad and warm handwritten dedication from the author, signed and dated, to the Macovescu family. The copy bears the number 61/150, handwritten numbered on the title page. Inside there is a manuscript page, written by George Macovescu, referring to Stephan Roll.
