As Emperor and High Priest, he is wearing a sakkos He blesses with his right hand and holds the opened Gospel to his chest. On his head, he wears a hierarchic mitre and there is an aura around the head. In the upper corners the initials IS HR appear, written in white. Jesus Christ's face is shaped according to the traditional Transylvanian painting from the 18th century half.
