1970-2009, in the personal collection of Professor William James Orville-Thomas, purchased directly from the artist in 1970. Professor William James Orville-Thomas was a British physical chemist and professor of physical chemistry who worked as a visiting professor at Sofia University. Throughout his career he maintained close ties with Bulgaria and was recognized for his contributions with an honorary doctorate from Sofia University, the St. Kliment Ohridski gold medal and the Marin Drinov gold medal from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. 2009-present, collection of the heirs of Professor William James Orville-Thomas.
