În cursul verilor anilor 1919 și 1920, Ion Theodorescu-Sion a întreprins campanii de lucru în județul Brașov, în compania bunului său prieten, Camil Ressu. Aceștia vor picta atunci în împrejurimile Brașovului, în Satulung și Noua, dar și la poalele Pietrei Craiului.

historic collection of engineer Constantin Bușilă (1877-1950); historic collection of Acad. George Georgescu (1887-1964). The painting most likely passed from one collection to the next through Tutu Georgescu (1912-2008), the adopted daughter of Constantin Bușilă, who married composer and conductor Gogu Georgescu in 1933.
