Born on May 30, 1939 in Sofia, Pavel Koichev is a sculptor who devoted himself to art even during his early childhood years. Graduating with a degree in sculpture in 1966 at the "Nikolay Pavlovich" Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Sofia, he unleashed his potential thanks to his visionary outlook and innovative thinking. He is the author of a number of successful projects, and since 1984 he has been included in all the most important national exhibitions organized in the country and abroad. The work "Man with a scarf" by Koychev was created from bronze in the early 1990s. The sculptor's hand has breathed life into the stone as well as a moment frozen in time, capturing the essence of movement and grace. The man's figure radiates quiet confidence, his posture a testament to inner strength and determination. His expression etched into the stone is imbued with emotion, speaking of a life lived with passion and purpose. Every curve and contour of the figure speaks of balance and depth, as if the very essence of tranquility is materialized in the form. (A.MA.)
