The lot consists of the following pieces that come from Gala Galaction's archive: 1. Fragment from a dictation notebook that includes drafts of letters and speeches, bibliographic records, thoughts, various notes. The pages are handwritten with pencil and purple ink. The author often intervened on the texts. 2. The contract concluded between the Publishing House of the Romanian Patriarchy, the Department of Cults under the Council of Ministers of the RPR and Gala Galaction, regarding the publication of the volume "Steps on the road to Damascus and Truth" by him. The documents are typed, initialed, signed by hand. 3. Manuscript and typewritten of the work "Resetting the chronology of St. Paul". The manuscript is drafted on vellum and dictation sheets, with black ink. The sheets include numerous interventions in the text by the author. 4. Newspaper and magazine clippings containing texts published by Gala Galaction and a handwritten copy made by a third person after a work by Galaction. 5. Pergamoid folder with the letterhead of the Academy of the People's Republic of Romania that belonged to the writer, with his business card as an academician and with an excerpt from the minutes of the meeting of Section VI of the Academy organized to celebrate Galaction when he turned 75. On the back of the last typewritten page there is a broad handwritten note by the writer. 6. Seven letters written by hand, one with the original envelope, addressed to Galaction, unidentified correspondents, referring to personal, theological and literary matters, 1915-1941. 7. Handwritten, signed and stamped request, addressed by Nichifor Crainic to the Minister of Cults and Public Education, to appoint him as ecclesiastical defender under the Church House. 8. Letter of thanks addressed by the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Alba Iulia and Sibiu, Nicolae, signed by hand, with the original envelope. 9. Handwritten letter from the scientist Nicolae Coculescu, signed and dated, to Galaction, regarding particular matters. 10. Handwritten, signed, draft of a letter sent by Galaction to unidentified friends. 11. Handwritten, signed and dated March 19, 1919, letter sent by the writer I.C. Vissarion to the Minister of Cults and Public Education I.G. Duca. 12. Official address, with letterhead, stamp and handwritten signature, from the Central Church Council, proposing Galaction to collaborate on a new translation of the Bible in Romanian. 13. Dictation notebook which includes the manuscript of the work "The third day - according to Scripture" created by Galaction, with numerous interventions in the text. 14. Extensive typewritten, of 496 pages, with numerous interventions in the text, carried out by Galaction for the volume "Theological Works". 15. Typewritten of a letter from Tudor Arghezi, unsigned, to the Russian Book publishing house, November 17, 1950, referring to the translation into Romanian of Krylov's fables. 16. Summoning of Galaction by the Romanian Academy to participate in the debate on the country's electrification plan, with a handwritten note by the writer on the back. 17. Contract concluded between the Foundation for Literature and Art "King Carol II", on the one hand, and priests Grigore Pișculescu (Gala Galaction) and Vasile Radu, for the translation of the Bible into Romanian, signed by hand by the two, with the stamp of the Foundation.
