DeWitt Academia Chronographe wristwatch, titanium and gold, men, limited edition 189/999, reference 6005.28, automatic mechanism, previously glazed. Black dial, Arabic numerals, bezel decorated with the motif "Imperial Column'' and two registers. Original black rubber strap and aftermarket stainless steel buckle. Founded in 2003 by Count Jérôme de Witt, a direct descendant of the Bonaparte dynasty, DeWitt has its roots in an authentic historical heritage. The company demonstrates its passion for Fine Watchmaking in an innovative, constantly evolving spirit. Two years after its founding, DeWitt registered its first patent for the Tourbillon Différentiel, which won the innovation award at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie in Geneva. The brand has expanded its collection of Tourbillons with famous inventions such as the Tourbillon Force Constante Academy and the Tourbillon Force Constante à Chaîne Academy. The unique design of the case is inspired by the imperial columns. The watches produced by this brand are very exclusive, produced in an extremely small number combining high-tech materials with traditional watchmaking, being also one of the four watchmakers in Switzerland that produce both the mechanisms and the dials of the watches.
