Louis C. Cornish (1870-1950) was the president of the American Unitarian Association. In 1922 he visited Transylvania and wrote an extremely critical report against the Romanian authorities regarding the marginalization of the Unitarian Church after the Great Union. Through his writings, including the present work, he supported the revisionist and anti-Romanian viewpoint of the authorities in Budapest.
