The binding is made of wooden planks covered in marbled brown leather; on the spine is the title: "Imago novae Hung". The title page was facsimilied to cover the lack of the original. Currently, the book retains only one reader's or owner's note, namely on the endpaper, signed from the beginning: "Petri Ferenczy, alumni Agriensis ex Dioecesi Transyl. 1776", therefore, a young man from Transylvania who, at that time, was studying at the College in Agria (Eger, Hungary). The present edition was published in Cassoviae [Kosice] in 1734 and presents the following title page: "IMAGO NOVAE HUNGARIAE, REPRAESENTANS REGNA, PROVINCIAS, BANATUS, & COMITATUS DITIONIS HUNGARICAE. Historically strictly written by SAMUELE TIMON of the Society of JESUS". The volume has (4) + 240 p. + (8) f. The Index capitum indicates, succinctly, the contents of the book: I. About Hungary in general; II. About the Counties of Hungary in general, and specifically about many; III. About the four Counties, which are also indicated by Stephanus Verbecius, and about the lands of Hungarian rule beyond the Sava; IV. About the Banats of Matschovia, & Bosnia, and about the varied fortune of Belgrade; V. About the Banat of Severin; VI. About several extraordinary Banats; VII.
