Rare piece, only one complete example is known in a private collection; incomplete examples are kept at the National Museum of Union Alba Iulia, Orthodox Archdiocese Alba Iulia, Romanian Academy Library Bucharest (photocopy), Orthodox Diocese Oradea and Metropolis of Ardeal Sibiu. The text includes four homilies and two prayers of forgiveness, or funeral sermons. The print is part of a large editorial collection, composed of "Prayer Book", "Homilies for dead people" and "Story of the 40 martyrs", all printed in Alba Iulia, in 1689. The six sermons have the following titles: Homily for Dead Men (f. 200r-204v), Homily for Dead People and for Women (f. 205r-210v), Homily for People and for Small Dead Youngsters (f. 210v-215v), Homily for Dead Men (f. 216r-[219v]), Prayers of Forgiveness for Dead Men (f. 220r-221r) and Another Prayer of Forgiveness for Dead Men (f. 221v-223v, printed wrong 222). The texts are mentioned in specialist bibliographies in the context of the Prayer Book (Bălgrad, 1689). Black print, on a column, with 21 rows on a page. The binding of the volume is made of cardboard dressed in paper, the corners of the covers and spine are made of leather. The condition of the binding is good, signs of wear are visible.
