Sukarno (1901-1970) was the leader of the nationalist movement in Indonesia and the country's first president after it earned its independence. He ruled from 1945 to 1967, when he was ousted by General Suharto. The two volumes include reproductions in the form of chromolithographs and heliogravures made after the works that are part of his art collection.
