On the inside of the front cover there is an inscription, 'Rodica Maniu, sketchbook from Brittany'. Inside, on the vellum pages of the notebook, there are numerous drawings and shields, done in black pencil and charcoal, some coloured with watercolours. The notebook contains 54 pages of sketches.
