Gala Galaction gave a speech on the personality and work of the national poet Mihai Eminescu before the Section of Sciences of Language, Literature and Art of the Romanian Academy, of which he had been a member since 1948. The manuscript comprises 11 pages written with blue ink, with numerous text interventions by the author. The typescript comprises 7 pages, with Galaction's handwritten additions on the first page.
