The lot includes the following items: 1. Holograph letter, signed, drafted recto-verso in blue ink, sent by Galaction to an unidentified priest Vasile; includes congratulations on the occasion of the name and news about his state of health; probably one of the last letters written by Galaction. 2. Holograph letter, drafted recto-verso in blue and black ink, dated May 10, 1940, from sociologist Dumitru Drăghicescu (1875-1945) to a friend; contains literary and personal information. 3. Two holograph letters, signed and dated (May 14, 1928, August 8, 1929) drafted recto-verso in black ink, sent by the lawyer Constantin Gheorghe Costa-Foru (1856-1935) to Galaction; contains personal information that attests the friendship between the two. 4. A cast postal envelope, franked and stamped, sent to Galaction by an unknown sender, March 1948. 5. Two postal verifications in the name of Galaction. 6. Postcard signed and dated December 4, 1958, stamped, sent to Galaction by an unidentified sender, referring to a pension file. 7. An envelope with the header of the Academy of the People's Republic of Romania, contains various handwritten notes by Galaction. 8. Holograph draft, signed, of a letter written by Galaction to an unidentified professor, written in black ink; contains a theological polemic. 9. Two short correspondences, with original envelopes, to Galaction from the Ministry of Finance and the State Monopolies Agency, interwar period. 10. A letter of gratitude, with the original envelope, drafted recto-verso in blue ink, signed, to Galaction from philosopher Grigore Tăușan, October 1954. 11. Holograph note, written in blue ink, to Galaction, signed "Popa Nae dazăd Zăbavă", July 21, 1952. 12. Manuscript of a poem dedicated by "student Anghel" to Galaction, written in blue ink. 13. Congratulations letter sent to Galaction, handwritten in blue ink, unidentified sender, dated April 16, 1953. 14. Holograph note to a writer with the header of the Bucharest Police Prefecture, Bureau of the Chief of Security, dated April 19, 1915. 15. Holograph letter, written in blue ink recto-verso, dated August 5, 1946, requesting Galaction for an intervention. 16. Holograph letter, written in blue ink recto-verso, dated January 14, 1955, by which a friend announces Galaction that he will refund a loan. 17. Holograph letter, written in black ink recto-verso, dated September 14, 1935, sent to Galaction by an unidentified priest, referring to a polemic in the "Curentul" newspaper. 18. Warm letter from the avant-garde writer Benjamin Fondane (1898-1944), typed, with interventions on the text and signed, dated Paris, February 21, 1931, to Galaction; contains thanks for a book sent from Bucharest. 19. Letter with the heading of the "Universul" newspaper, written in black ink, dated March 14, 1929 and signed by B. Cecropide, sent to Galaction to whom collaboration is requested. 20. Holograph letter, written recto-verso in black ink, sent to Galaction by Mimi Vlahuță Ștefănescu, referring to the novel "Papucii lui Mahmud", freshly published by writer. 21. Personal letter, drafted recto-verso in blue ink, sent to the Galaction spouses from two nuns from the Agapia Monastery, interwar period. 22. Twenty-one correspondences on theological themes (letters, addresses, communications, etc.) sent to Galaction by institutions and individuals, among them the Theology Faculty of the University of Strassbourg, Gibraltar Diocese, Pontifical Romanian Pio College, Italian Cultural Institute of Romania, Pontificium Orientalium Studiorum Institute, American magazine Globe, Dr. Manfred Reifer, former deputy. There is an address of the Gibraltar Diocesan addressed to Patriarch Miron Cristea, with a holograph note on the upper left corner of the respective page. 23. Handwritten letter, signed and dated December 12, 1915, written in blue ink, sent by Leontina Gherman from Roman to Galaction, through which she requests an intervention in favor of her son. The original envelope is retained, franked and stamped. 24. Four personal letters, handwritten, unidentified senders, to Galaction, with an original envelope, written in Romanian, Italian, and French, on various topics. 25. A printed business card with the name of Maurizio Gordillo, vice-president of the Oriental Institute under the Vatican, Rome. 26. Ample holograph correspondence, drafted in black ink on tracing paper, unsigned, addressed to Galaction, titled "Pietrele vorbesc"; includes travel stories in Italy. 27. Holograph letter, drafted in violet ink recto-verso, unsigned, to Galaction; contains theological references. 28. Two warm correspondences by which Galaction was invited to lecture at the Theological University Institute in Sibiu. One is typewritten, handsigned olograph by the Institute's rector Nicolae Neaga, with letterhead, dated January 17, 1951. The second is handwritten in blue ink and signed by the Metropolitan of Transylvania Nicolae, with letterhead, dated January 12, 1951. 29. Thorough invitation letter, written in blue ink recto-verso, sent to Galaction by the abbot of the Neamți Monastery Melhisedec, dated January 2, 1953. On the verso, there are several holograph notes by Galaction. 30. Three official correspondences, letterheaded, typed, stamped and signed, with thanks, sent by the Metropolitan of Bessarabia and the Archdiocese of Chișinău, to Galaction, dated, October 17, 1929, June 13, 1936, September 9, 1939. One of these is signed by hand by the Metropolitan of Basarabia Gurie. 31. Seven official and private correspondences, letterheaded, typed, stamped and signed, one with the original envelope, containing invitations, thanks, sent by Metropolis of Transylvania, Metropolis of Bessarabia, Diocese of Roman, Neamț Monastery, Metropolis of Moldova and Suceava, to Galaction, dated 1904-1939. The holograph signatures of the Metropolitan of Bessarabia Gurie, the Metropolitan of Moldova and Suceava Sebastian, Teofil, bishop of Roman, the abbot of the Neamț Monastery archimandrite Melhisedec, the bishop of Roman Lucian are found. 32. Address of the Press and Information Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the National Culture Publishers, accompanied by a press release referring to a book by Galaction. 33. Congratulations telegram sent to Galaction by sculptor Alexandru Severin, January 2, 1955. On the verso, there are several holograph notes by Galaction. 34. Four press cuttings with articles published on Galaction's death. 35. Four official correspondences typed, sent by the Romanian Patriarchy, with the header of the Holy Synod, signed olograph by Patriarch Miron Cristea, to Galaction, containing data related to various invitations, thanks, publications and delegations, dated December 8, 1931, April 11, 1932, May 25, 1935, September 19, 1935. 36. Excerpt from "Studies and Research in Literary History and Folklore", year IX, no. 1, 1960, with a study mentioning the literary work of Galaction, signed by Stancu Ilin. 37. Page from "Romanic Review", vol. XXVII, no. 1, 1936, with a handwritten dedication signed by Leon Feraru, author of some bibliographical notes about Galaction. 38. The extensive manuscript of Galaction's study "The Meaning of Saul of Tarsus' Inquisitor Activity", drafted in black pencil, red pencil and violet ink, with numerous author's interventions on the text. 39. Two press cuttings, funeral speeches of Galaction at the burials of journalist Ioan Nădejde and painter Alexandru Satmary. 40. Correspondence between the Steiniger Publishing House in Berlin and Galaction, October 10, 1942, and June 1943, with a holograph signature by Galaction. 41. The carbon copy of a communication made by Galaction in theological circles in the country (untitled), dated July 1943, with holograph interventions on the text. 42. Holograph concept, signed, dated February 23, 1950, of a letter sent by Galaction to the Minister of Interior, referring to family matters. 43. The carbon copy of a text written by Galaction, titled "Chipuri și popasuri". 44. Congratulations letter, letterheaded, typed, signed by hand, dated June 1, 1948, from the "Mântuirea" newspaper, referring to Galaction's appointment as a member of the Romanian Academy. 45. Address to Galaction from Who's Who Europe, letterhead, July 6, 1934.
