120. Confidences (Peasants from Ghelar) [cca. 1921]

Understanding in depth the Romanian specificity, the painter Dimitrescu shall render it in its true inner spirituality. Thus, works such as: "Country girl Vlaici", "Girl from Făgăraș", "Troubles", "Peasants weaving in war", "Girls from Țara Oltului", "Peasant interior", "Cook", "The lad's room", "Unchieșii", "Pe Valea Bistriței", "Țărancă din Maramureș", "Țărănci din Săliște" or "Confidențe (Țărănci din Ghelar)", made between 1921-1928 shall represent the accurate testimonies of this deep understanding of the Romanian specificity that he shall render authentically.
