6. "Anniversary Badge of 30 Years of the 9th Guard Hunters Regiment "King Alexander I", for non-commissioned officers, interwar period"

The 9th Hunters Regiment was a tactical level unit, which was formed on 14/27 August 1916, by mobilizing existing units and subunits during peacetime belonging to the 9th Hunters Battalion from the permanent army, displaced in the Constanța garrison. The regiment was part of the 9th Infantry Division organization. At the outbreak of the war, the regiment was commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Ioan Velescu. The unit participated in military actions on the Romanian front, throughout the war period, between 14/27 August 1916 - 28 October/11 November 1918. The regiment's battle flag was decorated with the "Mihai Viteazul" Order, Class III.
